Salem Democratic City Committee

The Salem Democratic City Committee invites all registered Salem Democrats from all seven wards to the Caucus on Monday, April 14. The purpose of the Caucus is to elect up to 6 delegates and 4 alternate delegates in each ward to attend the Massachusetts Democratic Platform Convention on September 13, 2025, at the MassMutual Center in Springfield MA from 9-2 PM. If you are considering a run for delegate, please make sure you are available September 13 and can make the drive to Springfield.

Any Democrat from Salem may run to be a delegate. You may register as a Democrat at the door or online at https://www.sec.state.ma.us/ovr/.

The cost of attending the convention as a delegate is $75, or $50 for college students and for seniors 65 and older. Full and partial fee waivers will be available at the caucus and by application to Mass Dems.

Time:
Bring a friend. The doors open at 5:30 PM.
The caucus will be from 6:00 to 7:30 PM.
You must arrive before 6:15 PM as the doors shut at 6:15.
